Today in maths we were finding objects in the classroom that were bigger, smaller or the same size as our gingerbread man.

We are learning about magnets for the first few weeks this term.

Today we played musical magnets. When the music stopped we had to find the closest magnet(person) and practise repelling and attracting using North and South (written on our hands)

Then we went around different stations to see if the objects were magnetic or non-magnetic

We discovered some interesting things.

-10 cent and 50 cent coins are magnetic. $2 coins are not

- the handles on the scissors are not magnetic but the blades are.

Yesterday we were learning to weave using flax. Thank you to Kfir's Mum and Dad, and Gloria's Mum for coming to help us.

We really had to concentrate!
